Today I want to tell you how you can use "The Original" Himalayan Crystal Salt to give your skin a healthy glow. Salt is a natural beauty secret!
Skin protects the internal functions of our bodies from outside influences and is our body's largest organ of purification.
To function optimally, our skin needs neutral pH factors. Most skin care products from the cosmetics industry make our skin more acid. "The Original" Himalayan Crystal Salt can redulate the pH of the skin to it's optimum level through its balancing and neutralizing effects.
Skin problems are a result of imbalances inside the body. To solve any problem externally on the skin, it's important to bring balance internally by taking the salt in the form of Sole. Until the inner balance is achieved, applying Sole to the outer skin can be very healing.
Here is a program for healing acne, unhealthy skin, and eczema, as recommended in the book Water & Salt: The Essence of Life:
* Drink one teaspoon of sle in a glass of living spring water every morning on an empty stomach.
* Drink two to three quarts of low mineral and non-carbonated water per day.
* Once daily, apply concntrated sole to the troubled areas allowing it to absorb into the skin. Do not use any creams.
* Apply a sole med mask [Crystal Salt Peloid with Peruvian Fango Mud] twice a week and let it soak in for 15-20 minutes before removing the mask with a wet washcloth.
Though initial worsening of the skin is possible, once this phase passes, the skin improves dramatically.

I've received so many requests for more recipes using "The Original" Himalayan Living Salt, that I've made a decision to include a recipe in each newsletter from now on. If you have a recipe you would like to share, please send it to me.
Today's recipe is for Fresh Garlic Dill Pickles. They are crisp and delicious, with a nice crunch when you bite into them. And with "The Original" Himalayan Living Salt, the taste has an "aliveness" that is missing from other pickles. They are very easy to make.
Small pickling cucumbers are in season now. This recipe is for "refrigerator" pickles, made and stored in the refrigerator instead of canned. They will last several weeks if you don't eat them all before! If you want to make pickles now and store them for use later in the year, follow standard canning instructions that come with the jars.
FRESH GARLIC DILL PICKLES
10 pickling cucumbers
3 cups water
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon "The Original" Himalayan Living Salt
6 fresh dill sprigs
10 garlic cloves, crushed and peels removed
1. Put the cucumbers in a bowl and cover with cold water. Let stand overnight.
2. Drain and pack the cucumbers into glass jars with tight lids.
3. Combine the vinegars and salt with the water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
4. Pour over the cucumbers and add dill and garlic.
5. Refrigerate for two days, then enjoy!
